-
The Grind
This panel will feature military members and first responders sharing firsthand experiences that address & emphasize the continuous, often overlooked stressors of their professions. It's not just about singular traumatic events but the relentlessness of the day-to-day grind, irregular schedules, and the chronic physical & emotional strain.
By sharing their stories, panelists will offer a raw, authentic glimpse into the reality of living a life on the front lines, aiming to foster a sense of solidarity and deeper insight into the resilience required to withstand these cumulative challenges.
-
The Healers
A diverse group of practitioners — from therapists to holistic healers — who have devoted their careers to assisting & supporting veterans and first responders. Panelists discuss common themes & challenges they've encountered and share their holistic views on works best for healing.
Focus will be on the shared journey of recovery, emphasizing the unique insights. Seeing through the lens of those who walk alongside guardians on their path to wellness, we can more deeply understand the healing process and consider all the avenues & options available.

In Their Words
Guardians shared their honest feedback from past Wellness Summits:
-
"We are not alone"
No matter what we are going through, there is someone who has had to endure the same thing or something similar at some point. There is comfort in that.
-
"I am the Solution"
They had me fired up and I would go to battle with those guys any day. They both motivated me to be a better person and acknowledge the fact that I am the solution.
-
"Creating Positive Change"
Thank you for providing such an important resource for the LE / First Responder / Military community. The information provided is truly valuable and critical in creating positive change.
-
"Wellness is Important"
[I learned that] there are many resources available for someone who is willing to accept help. Focusing on your wellness is more important than you realize when you’re lost in the day to day hustle.
-
"A Humbling Experience"
Overall it was an outstanding and humbling experience. I believe what really separated this seminar from other health & wellness seminars, was the panel portion. Having been able to sit there and hear others share their experiences in front of a large audience, really sends the message to those who are struggling that it's ok to talk to someone.
-
"We're in it Together"
People need to be more vulnerable with each other and share more. Professional settings or even group settings at work. Hold each other accountable and also check on each other more.
